First
day of a three day technical conference. I have to admit that the
facilities and the food are the best I've ever had at a conference in my life.
Some of the sessions are boring but that goes without saying.
Left
the conference, bought chocolate cookies and got home in time for the writers
group.
June 3
Full day at the conference - very interesting to here what everyone else is
seeing and thinking. Not totally sure I have my fingers on all the
trends.
Met
with a potential partner -- He's in California but does primarily PS.
Microsoft put us in contact by phone and we agreed to meet at the
conference.

Moon in Sagittarius on at 11:20 AM PDT
This
Full Moon chart boasts a Grand Square in the mutable signs! Instead of feeling
a sense of completion we are more apt to continue pondering! Planned
strategies must include alternative paths now. Neptune rising in the lunation
chart feeds both our fears and our faith.
Not sure about Neptune but it was one heck of a

June 4th
The new car decided to die on the way to the conference. The truth was
it ran out of gas. It's silly what couples argue about but my husband
took it into his head that even though owners manual on our new car said we
had a 16 gallon tank -- that it was wrong and we had an 18 gallon tank.
I think it's a guy thing. Anyway my girlfriend was on her way to the
conference so she stopped by and rescued us. It also proves that the
owners manual was right.
Took
some time away from the conference to try and finish an article I have due.
I've written about 10,000 words in search of the 3,500 I need to submit.
I think everything I wrote will end up going into the book in one fashion or
another
Did a reading about moving into a new field. The possibilities look
good. The queen of pentacles is the outcome card.
- Watched Brother Bear - I was actually very disappointed in this film --
it seemed to slide over the top into some sort of disturbing political
correctness.
June 5th.
We've
had bright sunny weather but today the rain goddess decided to share with us
her abundance. In fact her presence was so strong today that she
actually stopped by (metaphorically speaking) to introduce herself

A meeting with Kalseru - she is the goddess of the fertile rain
and the fertile imagination. She claims the Northwest of any region
as hr special province. She asked for a rain gage to be chosen and then
mounted some where in my garden to define her special area. She also
said that I could capture the rain at any time and use it as the base for
potions and elixirs. Those that had to do with creativity would be
especially strong. |

One of her guises is as a rainbow serpent. She also oversees
initiation rites. In ancient times these were often manhood rituals
but times change and goddesses change as well. She says now that she
will oversee rites of Croning where physical creativity turns inward to
become mental creativity. |
Additionally Kalseru can be invoked to get rid of any block in creativity.
My neighbor dropped by the house to tell us that a buck and doe where in the
neighbor's pasture. I'd caught a fleeting glimpse of them on the animal
highway the other day (the hill in our backyard) nothing as significant as
what I saw today. The doe comes by much more regularly. If seemed
like the quintessential northwest experience to be standing out in the rain
with our dogs talking about the animals that come by our homes.
June
6th - Went to see Shrek 2 at the theater. Enjoyed it. Finished up
the article earlier in the day and sent it off. Also spent time updating
and organizing this journal. Very low key day.
June 7th - Spent the day recording a
shamanic Journey and just generally thinking things through. The energy seems to
be shifting but it's not producing results yet.
The first
hummingbird I've
seen at this house paid a visit to my office window
June 8th
Got
up early to record another
journey
and was given some information I consider surprising. Of course
anyone reading it might either find it silly or confusing but that doesn't
minimize the fact that it was one of the great ahaas for me.
Met
with my business partners and things really seemed to come together around our
new service offering. The energy really seems to be building around this
new direction. I also did a quick horary chart on our new product and I
got a chart which looked very, very supportive. I'm naturally suspicious
of this amount of positive energy since I've never found the portends of real
things to be this clear. Additionally I went out to run some errands and
came back with a perfect little Chinese dragon of good fortune. Again
the timing be amazing if it all isn't a figment of my imagination.
I got a rain
stick and a rain gage in honor of Kalseru and she responded by a wonderful
thunder and lightening storm at around 11:00 at night. The lightening
was particularly visible.
June
10th - Uranus Retrograde -
The
electric planet of revolution is turning inward for the next five months
(until November 8th the day of the lunar eclipse). Liberation comes from
within during this period. Trust your intuition as you face and then break
internal bonds that have limited your imagination.
Uranus turns retrograde just before reaching the
"second house cusp. Uranus has been sitting in my first house since
January 1995.and won't actually leave until sometime in 2007. My
philosophy of transits is always that they matter when they're unique.
When it's just a been there done that I don't think they're very noticable

16th Mars transits into my 7th house and stays until August 19th which
overlaps with much of the transit of the Sun through my 7th house.
When
Mars transits the seventh house you are concerned with taking on a leading or
aggressive role within a relationship. You are active in pursuing partners and
in the forming of new partnerships. The seventh house is where we first bond
totally with another. . An alternate manifestation of Mars in the
seventh house is that you may brush up against another closely enough to stir
hostility rather than the forming of a harmonious relationship and the two of
you could become immediate enemies. Sometimes the relationships you form are
in some other capacity, such as counseling, or where several people come
together to perform a project. Physical work or activity is likely to be
required in such a project.
I'm curious as to why I notice Mars transits
during the 5th house and not during any other. Mars does a complete cycle
in around two years as I remember. I also have to say that I've never had
a time in my life when I have more aggressively been pursuing business partners
- I think I'll definitely be feeling the effect of this transit for a while
June 17th
I don't ever
remember a thunder and lightening storm here in the PNW equal to what we saw
last night around midnight. Beyond any shadow of a doubt Zeus was up
there throwing lightening bolts and Thor was trashing around with his hammer
and earning his title "the thunderer"
New Moon
With the new moon falling directly on my natal
Jupiter I'll probably find myself opening up to hundreds of possibilities and
trying to juggle them all. Too be honest I already feel like I have too many
balls in the air and I'm not sure what I'd do with a few more.
June 18th
Met with a headhunter today. At least I'll get my resume in front of
someone. Also called another headhunter and sent him my resume
June
19th Did the pseudo Aunt thing and spent the entire afternoon at a dance
recital. I was surprised that the hip-hop numbers were by far and away the
best.
June
20th The buck and the doe came directly into the backyard today.
June 21 -
Not
a great day. The second headhunter started back peddling about the 3
jobs he said he had openings for and the client the other head hunter was
going to set me up with seems less than enthusiastic about interviewing me.
Didn't
get much done the rest of the day - it was 92 degrees and we don't have air
conditioning.
June 22nd - feeling a little frustrated. Just heard from the
headhunter. They think I'm over qualified. Is that a pseudonym for
too old or too expensive? The headhunter has done a good job pushing so
that at least is a positive situation.
Finished
up the rewrites on my article. That turned out to be one of the most difficult
columns I've written.
