2004 Significators |
I'm trying a number of things this year The first is keep a detailed journal of what happens over the year. The whole reason behind this is to see if any of these prognostications actually end up resulting in anything tangible
The Receptive
The White horse -
It was seven minutes after midnight on the seventh day.
A flash of light streaked the sky and touched a magical horse carved into the white chalk hillside.
The great creature shook himself free of the chalk and rose to his feet.
It was seven minutes after midnight on the seventh day of the seventh month. The white horse is the only beast that was allowed to travel freely to and from the Otherworld, a general term for the dwelling places of the spirits and gods . Horses are celebrated by the Celts during Lughnasadh, the harvest festival. Initiated by the Gaelic sun god Lugh, who is honored for introducing the craft of horsemanship to the Celts, this festival featured horse racing and exhibition. Because horses were an integral part of farming, they were used by the Celts in fertility rituals.
The 3 of Pentacles
Eihwaz The rune represents the critical factor in the issue at hand. Eihwaz refers to the Yew tree. The Yew does not go dormant and therefore represents endurance. Even the wood of the tree is strong, resilient, and pliable - the Yew bends, but does not break. The evergreen nature of the Yew is present even in the rune itself, as it cannot be changed even by reversal.
Heather When Ur turns up in a divinatory reading, the subject is usually being advised to find gateways to passion in life, or there may be such an opening coming in the future. Heather is the symbolic gateway linking the earth with the spirit world. This gateway opened by the Heather bridges those divides between others, and ourselves, an act which may be carried throughout the year. This helps to create an awareness of others and the difficulties they may be facing. In helping others without thought of self-gain we also unconsciously create a healing for ourselves through this unselfish act... and so the circle turns. The healing power of Ur helps to create inner peace and lifts our spirits, revealing the means to reduce stresses within our own lives.
I find it interesting that heather is related to the bee and the bee, at least for me is related to work. I have a feeling that bee will be a helpful totem this year.
Buttercup - Radiance and Riches
will help feelings of self-esteem. The yellow silky flower offers a radiant inner light allowing the experience of the true worth of the soul. It enhances the experience of self-love, which, in turn, allows for greater harmony with friends and family. Buttercup can also help you see the unique value you bring to your vocation.
“I let go of my resistance to my Inner Self,
and know that I have worth and a unique value.”
Rising return (an annual chart just like a solar return)
2004 - The Year of the Wood Monkey - Feng Shui energies changes from year to year. Therefore, it is necessary to watch out for the reallocation of good and bad energies at the beginning of each year, so that we can take necessary precautions if some bad energy happens to arrive at important locations of our residence or office. In the year of the Monkey, the bad energy called “Five Yellow” – symbolizing obstacles and misfortune, arrives at the centre.
If your centre of the house is very active area such as passage ways, it is recommended to hang a metal wind chime there to dissolve this bad energy. The worst months will be in February, August and November.
