2nd House Journal 2006 |
My second house goes from March 2 (11Pis37) until April 10th (21Ari22). The contents of this journal are never predictable. Some years it's just a sentence or two and some years it's much more. You'll also find many of the entries beginning with a small graphical tag. I'm experimenting with how this will impact the journal. Basically without reading an entry I can go through a house and find what stands out to me visually (group activity, travel etc)
March 2006-Overview - from Alphatrends
March is universally a TWO month, and a month holding not only a Solar and Lunar Eclipse, but a Mercury retrograde as well. TWO is all about balance and blending and finding harmony along the way. This month there will be a lot of variables that will be expanding in your life that prompt us to find a calm and balancing center. The Solar and Lunar Eclipse point to the new directions that are opening up amidst the changes and adjustments that are a major part of the month as well. The Solar Eclipse is at 8 degrees Aries, which provides us all a new surge of energy that opens the doors for our creative ventures to unfold as April reveals our exciting new pathways. During Mercury’s adjustments from March 2nd through March 26th, we will discover many different situations that cause us to address important relationship issues.

Talk about once in a blue moon. If I thought it was weird last year it's even weirder this year -- so once again on the same day I get a note from a former SO. I really don't understand his yearly need to reach out.
March 13 Started playing with Chinese astrology. Seems we have a number of hexagrams that map our lives. Interesting
March 17 Uranus crossed into my 2nd house today. It will stay in this house for the next 10 years.
The second house rules your value system, personal finances, and possessions. On another level, it rules your comfort levels. The best advice for increasing your earning power now is to nurture your latent inventive, progressive, or future-oriented talents.

March 22
Very long dream. Seems we're being invaded and Ted and I are looking for a place to hide. I'm absolutely terrified because I believe that we will all die if they find us. The problem is that in modern day houses there's no place to seek shelter, no root cellar, no bomb shelter. I finally join Ted under the bed. When the invaders arrive, it appears they view themselves more as liberators than as murders. The dream shifts and it seems that there may be a third force that is still coming that really are the bad guys. The internal resistance movement has built a gigantic weapon that they had kept hidden below ground that they can bring to bear on the real enemy. I'm confused in the dream as to who the real threat is from and feel very vulnerable and foolish for hiding under the bed but I don't know what else to do.

March 24
Swung by the caterer's to pick up the goodies for tonight. What a delight -- the food was wonderful. We got beef, a crab dip, and a pesto and sun dried tomato torte.
Almost everyone from the office showed up -- we had about 20 people and tasted about 11 bottles of wine. Good stuff. The Harlequin Syrah was the top pick. The number two choice was split between those who liked the Aussie Shiraz and those who picked another California wine.
As a note: it was wonderful to meet the wives and girl friends -- turns out it is only the gen x young women who can't find a kitchen and don't understand the rules of polite society -- these young ladies (around 24 years old) where delightful, charming and excellent cooks.
